Lawrence Melton is Managing Member of Northbound Solutions and the CEO and President of The Building People. With over 25 years of Federal Executive Service, Lawrence established The Building People in 2012 and Northbound Solutions in 2017. These enterprises found early success in their global reach to drive greater efficiency, investment, and performance for their clients. Lawrence is recognized globally as an expert in Facilities Management, Smart Buildings and Asset Management, and continues to serve on multiple Boards and Associations. He is the International Facilities Management Sector Chair for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as well as an RICS Fellow and leads teams across the globe tackling complex real estate and facilities management issues facing commercial, institutions, and public sectors.
David Inmon
Executive Board Member of Northbound Solutions and CEO of Redhorse Corporation
David is an Executive Board Member of Northbound Solutions and CEO of Redhorse Corporation. David brings over 30 years of experience in leadership and an impressive record of success as the founder of Redhorse in 2008 from a startup to a multi-million dollar enterprise. As an Executive Board Member at Northbound Solutions, David controls long-term strategy and the day-to-day management and administration of business operations. Before the launch of Redhorse, David was recalled to active duty in the Marine Corps in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. For a year, he ran Bemsaya Range Complex, an 85-square-mile live fire-training base in central Iraq. David led the effort train more than 4,000 Iraqi soldiers and established four separate training programs during his tour. He was directly responsible for the supervision and safety of more than 150 military and contractor personnel. David was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service in Iraq. He retired at the rank of Colonel in 2013 after 32 years of active and reserve service in the Marine Corps.
Prior to returning to active duty, David was a partner in a boutique investment banking firm, where he helped small businesses raise capital and make divestitures and acquisitions. Earlier, he worked for a technology start-up company as Vice President of International Sales. The company was acquired by Oracle, where David spent a year in the wireless application server group working with international wireless carriers. Previously, David spent 8 years with Ericsson, delivering wireless voice and data systems to local, state, and federal governments. He led a team that was awarded the largest public safety radio system contract in Hawaii state history. He began his professional career as an artillery officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, spending 4 years on active duty before he joined the Marine Corps Reserve.
David holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters in Business Administration from Arizona State University.
